Welcome to Playbill's Glimmer of Light Pride Event

Benefitting Born This Way Foundation, Created by The Neon Coven & Presented by Cadillac

This June, celebrate Pride 2021 with Glimmer of Light, an epic concert produced by Playbill, created by The Neon Coven and presented by Cadillac.  Join in the celebration of queer individuals and allies, while supporting Born This Way Foundation's mission of working with young people to build a kinder and braver world.  Surprise performances and guest speakers from Broadway, TV and Social Media will fill the evening with PRIDE. 100% of Glimmer of Light ticket proceeds go directly to support Born This Way Foundation.

Glimmer of Light will feature onsite performances/appearances by Alex Newell, Ariana DeBose, Blaine Alden Krauss, Brian Sims, DeMarius R. Copes, Ezra Menas, Jo Ellen Pellman, Legacy BQPC (Ashton Muñiz, Basit Shittu, Garrett Allen, Kyle Carrero Lopez), Marti Allen-Cummings, Max Crumm, Jan Sport, Sis and virtual performances/appearances by Felicia Fitzpatrick, L Morgan Lee, Peppermint and Shakina Nayfack, along with The Neon Coven members Andrew Barret Cox, August, Bessie D. Smith, Brandon Alberto, Brandon Looney, Danielle Lussier, Hayley Moir, Jada Temple, Kelly McIntyre, Kim Hudman, Kim Onah, Lyric Danae, Mark Mauriello, Michelle Martinelli, Page Axelson, Peter Yang, Princess Lockerooo, Ryan Gregory Thurman, Sarah Lewandowski, Tony Lawrence Clements, Tweet and Zofia Weretka. Special appearances by Born This Way Foundation Representatives, The Real Housewives, Willy Rodriguez on drums, Debbie Tjong on bass and more will be announced shortly.

EVENT TIMING:

  • Event Date: Thursday June 17, 2021. Rain or Shine!*

  • Location: Radial Park at Halletts Point

  • Entry To Radial Park: Doors open 7PM ET with access to The Playbill Pride Pop-Up Store, Food Trucks, Photo Op, Pride Pivot Flea featuring LGBT+ crafters, On-Screen Event Pre-Show, and more.  In partnership with The NYC Test & Trace Corps (a public health initiative to fight the threat of COVID-19), a free vaccination bus will also be at the venue for concert participants and those in the surrounding community to take action against COVID-19 with free and safe vaccinations.  

  • Concert: 8:30PM ET

*In case of extreme high winds and/or thunderstorms, the event will be postponed to June 24, 2021 with same timing.

Ticketing to Glimmer of Light is purchased in socially distanced "pods".

  • VIP Picnic Table Seating Pod - Optimal Screen & Live Performance Viewing - Up To 6 Attendees - $300/table

  • VIP Drive In or Picnic Pod (Bring Folding Chairs and Picnic!) - Optimal Screen & Live Performance Viewing - Up To 5 Attendees - $300/car

  • Regular Picnic Table Seating Pod - Up To 6 Attendees - $200/table

  • Regular Drive In or Picnic Pod (Bring Folding Chairs and Picnic!) - Up To 5 Attendees - $200/car

  • Audio Accessible - Regular Picnic Table Seating Pod - Up To 6 Attendees - $200/table

*100% of Glimmer of Light proceeds go directly to support Born This Way Foundation.

COVID-19 PROCEDURES:

Radial Park has a "GREEN", "YELLOW" & "RED" COVID-19 Protocol Entry Wristband Policy. All attendees, staff, performers and will be temperature checked when arriving at the venue and must adhere to this in order to gain entry to the event. Once temperature checked, attendees will receive a wristband: 

"GREEN" - Participants can interact with other Green Wristband attendees, but are kindly asked to follow COVID-19 socially distanced protocols around all other attendees.

"YELLOW" - Participants are asked to maintain COVID-19 socially distanced protocols and remain 6 feet apart from other attendees.

"RED" - Upon entry, participants will maintain maximum distance to ensure maximum COVID-19 socially distanced spacing between themselves and others. (We recommend also wearing "Red" to the event).

 

Glimmer of Light is executive produced by Bryan Campione and Leonard Rodino. Created by The Neon Coven, the concert features original music and choreography by Andrew Barret Cox, is written by Mark Mauriello, and is directed by Shira Milikowsky. Carla Troconis is The Neon Coven’s managing producer. Alfredo Macias will act as stage manager for the concert with Kevin Duda and Sydney Steele acting as front of house production (Kevin Duda Productions), Michael Mortiz suppling additional videography (Moritz Theatricals) and Roberto Araujo as Playbill’s Director of Video Production.

Restrictions

Must be 21+ to purchase/consume alcoholic beverages. Face masks/coverings are required when not seated at Radial Park. No re-entry is permitted into Radial Park once admitted.
